Getting to know you:
1) If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? And why?
One of my favourite places in the world is Thira on the Greek island of Santorini. In my early 20’s I spent my summer holidays hopping around the Greek Islands and looking out over the white washed houses was a dream. There was also a photographer called Georges Meis who photographed cats in various locations and I’d buy his Greek Cats Calendar. Happy days
2) Give me one random fact about you
I have never used a washing machine even though I’m really good around the house.
3) What’s your favourite TV Show?
Game of Thrones – I’ve watched every episode live and since Season 6 stayed up until the first showing at 2am.
4) What’s your favourite food?
It must be Escalop de veaux avec le sauce de Dijon (Fillet of veal in a Dijon mustard sauce) washed down with a large glass of Gevrey Chambertain.
5) Name me one musician / band you wished you could have seen live
My boyhood hero was the guitarist James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix. I used to play air guitar to his albums. I wish he’d lived longer and produced more material.
6) What is your favourite memory?
Seeing my wife on our wedding day. We decided to get married in secret with only two secretaries from the typing pool as witnesses. We even forgot to take a camera but I still remember how beautiful she looked.
7) What is your favourite film?
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - because the ending is the way I would like to bow out!
